What is PCB Components Sourcing?
PCB Component sourcing refers to the purchasing the PCB components
to be assembled onto the printed circuit board.
Component sourcing can be done in many ways.
You can have the suppliers purchase components from authorized and reliable distributors of their choice and deliver to you by order.
You can also recommend a distributor where the supplier can source the components from and deliver to you.
Still, you can opt to source for some components and let another supplier source the rest.
Component sourcing can either be done locally or from abroad. International component sourcing usually takes around 5-10 working days depending on the duration of customs clearance.
Local sourcing, on the other hand, takes a shorter time. It is therefore preferred, especially if all the required components are available because it helps save on time and production cost.

The plate itself has no shelf life, but if it exceeds three months, it needs to be baked to remove moisture and stress, and it should be used immediately after baking. It is recommended that the pieces should be loaded within 6 months of storage to reduce the phenomenon of rejection and explosion. |
